Most of the artistic journey of Sonia Cunliffe Peruvian photographer and visual artist, has been related to photography, investigation, archive, appropriation and value. It is no coincidence that her first solo exhibitions were product of her inclinations toward archive and her critical studies about fashion and the feminine body. In later years and parallel to her photography work and as a critic to her surroundings, she continues exploring about forgotten objects or hidden histories, but above all, the curiosity and attraction towards recovering photographs and archival documents, as developed in her project Documentos extraviados: niños de Chernobil en Cuba (2016).
