Education & Workshops
Either as part of exhibitions and art fairs or as a standalone event, the Food of War collective offers educational and creative work in which the audience and the local community are invited
to take an active part. Each event focuses on a particular social or global issue. Extensive research, community field work, creative collaboration, and groundbreaking pieces combine to
bring the audience to close proximity to difficult issues and thus awareness is raised through personal impact.
Who will succeed? Who would loose? The winners write history and whoever succumbs in battle will be forgotten, dethroned, stripped of its legacy. In there, lays the importance of Hummus as a trophy. A popular tradition that covers a larger territory and by acknowledging it as from one side, the other side would kneel down to the "rightful owners" every time they taste it.
