LUCIA LOREN
BA of Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid (1997). She has won several scholarships and awards that allowed her to participate in artistic research projects: Erasmus Scholarship, "Accademia di Belle Arti", Bologna, Italy (1997), International Agreements Scholarship, "Faculty of Arts". Tucumán, Argentina (1999), Grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "Accademia di Belle Arti", Bologna, Italy, (2000), Plastic Arts Award, Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Community of Madrid (2003). The exchange relationships of the human being with the environment and the landscape that are formed are the main subject of reflection of her work in recent years. In all these interventions, she uses the elements of the landscape to make small variations that reflect on the concept of cultural landscape itself. On many occasions, the work process becomes an open space for the participation of the population that inhabits the place, generating an exchange of experiences and knowledge between the artistic process and the rural population.
