As part of the theme “Wars of the future” taking place in Zona Maco (Mexico, D.F.), Food of War brought “Insect Flesh” to talk about the scarcity of protein in the future. There are not enough supplies to feed us all in the coming decades and some wars would be about food. Insect protein is one of the solutions but the perceptions we have about them have been tainted by Hollywood horrific representation of insects.
